Intersec 2026: Vega Systems at the Dell Booth
Redundancy, Migration, and Edge Video Continuity.
Dubai • January 2026
We had a strong week at Intersec 2026, connecting with partners and end customers who are actively planning VMS upgrades, multi-site resilience, and more cyber-secure operational continuity.
💬 What we heard most on the show floor
- “We can’t afford downtime.” Customers want practical failover plans that don’t require fragile coupling.
- Network segmentation is real. Many environments can’t keep everything on the same subnet (by design).
- Migrations are still painful. Upgrades and site consolidation often become multi-week projects.
- Cyber posture matters. Teams want resilience without expanding the "blast radius" of a breach.
What we showcased
RMF
Helps Milestone XProtect customers implement redundancy with strong isolation and cyber resilience—keeping day-2 operations manageable.
XPort
Reduces migration friction by moving configurations through vendor APIs—avoiding tedious manual rebuilds during upgrades.
SureStream
Keeps video playing directly from cameras when server infrastructure is unavailable—critical for catastrophic failure moments.
Atlas
Enables secure, high-quality video transmission from mobile fleets and remote sites over challenging cellular networks.
Nidhi
Automates the secure backup of media, ensuring compliance and audit-readiness even if local recorders fail.

We created a comic to explain real-world reliability problems (and solutions) without forcing anyone to read a manual.

A big thank-you to Dell for hosting us at the booth and to everyone who stopped by to share use cases, constraints, and hard-earned lessons from the field.
Want to continue the conversation?
If you’re planning an XProtect upgrade, designing multi-site resilience, or tackling migration timelines, we’d love to compare notes.
